Get 'em while they're hot. This is one of the classic, old New York
hotels, right in the heart of Times Square. A bus will take guests
from the Algonquin to Prospect Park on Sunday afternoon at 2:15
pm. Call Jean and Jordan as soon as possible to reserve a spot on

Say you're in town for the Nerenberg/Naparstek wedding and get
the super-low rate of $114/night. Great deal. The neighborhood
is a little bit quieter than Times Square but you're close enough
to walk to the Broadway shows. You're also right next door to
Korea
Town if you're looking for a good spot for lunch.

Village HoJo hip, new, and downtown, it's right next door to the
finest lox, bagel and pickle joint in the Lower East Side and
thus the entire world: Russ
& Daughters. Lots of good eats and nightlife all around.

midtown hotel. You may actually be able to find better prices online
if you do a quick Google
search for W Hotel New York. This is a nice spot because you're
near lots of museums.

Rooms start at $199/night. This hotel has a few things working in
its favor: It's in Brooklyn so it's close to the site of the wedding,
it's a short walk to every subway line you may possibly need, it's
got a great gym and pool that is nearly always empty, and it's got
a full service hair and nail salon in the ground floor run by a
very old school guy named Franco who really knows how to do a quality
haircut. Drawback: You've got to cross some huge, nasty and inhumane
streets to the more fun,
stylish, and stroll-worthy parts of Brooklyn. |
